Direct Billing Advantages

Direct Billing makes the payment process easier for you as you don’t have to pay out of pocket and wait for reimbursement from your insurance company.
Direct Billing helps to make therapy more financially accessible if you have insurance coverage as it reduces or eliminates any upfront costs.

How It Works

Getting started with direct billing is easy! At the time of your initial consult please provide your Insurance Name, policy and ID number as well as your credit card information.
At the end of your 50-minute therapy session we will bill your insurance company for the full fee of your therapy session.
The remaining amount, not paid for by your insurance company, will be charged to your credit card on file. A receipt indicating the amount charged to your credit card will be immediately emailed to you.
If you prefer not to pay with credit card you can pay by e-transfer.

Direct Billing Questions

If you are not sure about your benefits and or how much per session is covered, you can contact your insurance provider. There’s usually a phone number on the back of your insurance card. If you don’t have a copy of your Insurance card, you can search for your Insurance providers contact number online.

When you call your Insurance provider you can inquire about your mental health benefits for Psychology and Social Work including how much insurance coverage you have per year as well as how much they will reimburse per session.
