Imagine my utter surprise when yesterday, Christmas Day, I stopped by to see my good friend, Shelley Mountain-Collette. The plan was to surprise her Mom by visiting with her @ her parents house.
As Shelley and I exchanged our gifts I unwrapped this beautiful painting shown below thar Shelley had painted for me a while ago. Looking at the RED CARDINAL in the painting tears welled my eyes as I hugged my friend. Both of us I know feeling a connection to those we love who are no longer with us.
